Terms Of Admission:

UPM welcome transfer students after completing one semester in any accepted university or faculty of KSA with the following terms and conditions:

The student should be enrolled at a recognized college or university.

The student must not have been dismissed from that university for disciplinary reasons.

The student must satisfy the transfer provisions as determined by the University Council.

Qualifying Subjects:

Transfer students that are seeking admission can transfer their credits if they are from any recognized university or pursuing equivalent courses provided that the total study hours to be transferred does not exceed 40% from the approved hours in the needed program.

To transfer their credit hours to UPM, students should fulfil the following requirements:

The student should have completed the Preparatory Year program or have been admitted to the university as a freshman student.

The student should have obtained a grade of C or higher in that course.

The course was taken at a recognized college or university.

The course is equivalent in its contents to one of the courses which are included in the UPM degree requirements. Otherwise, it may be counted as an elective with the approval of the council of the department offering the degree program and the college council concerned.

The grade earned by the student in the course is not included in the student's cumulative GPA.

Courses taken at two different institutions at the same time are not considered for the transfer of credit.
