About
Overview
VISI lab focusses on applied research, development and commercialization of AR, VR, XR and AI technology for enhancing existing research and accelerating innovation developments. Initial trials by faculty and students have shown that our Extended Reality, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality (XR, AR and VR) technology was highly beneficial for improving teaching & learning strategies and in developing favourable approaches for immersive and flipped classroom activities. The experience and skills gained shall also be tailored to content development and training for current and new industrial and academic partners interested in exploring such technologies for various use-cases. We would approach existing and new collaborators with shared interests and visions for AR/VR and XR deployment as training use-cases in their required setting.
VISI lab is open to external funds by advancing its current technology for community projects. Moreover, the VISI lab would become more engaged in innovative content development and training with more emphasis being laid on the commercialization aspect of existing and new solutions through the Marketplace trading platform or other approaches.
