
Ghassan Al Sulaiman Award for Talent & Creativity
The Dr. Ghassan Al-Sulaiman Award for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is an annual award granted at the level of Prince Muqrin Bin Abdulaziz University, targeting innovators and entrepreneurs who are owners of ideas and startups, students and university graduates, with the aim of spreading the culture of innovation, enhancing the entrepreneurial mindset and developing creative thinking skills. The award includes an accompanying qualitative program that enables students to launch their innovative ideas and enhances their chances of winning the award. The award contributes to enhancing the ambition of young people, appreciating their efforts, and providing a space for creativity and development, which contributes to making a positive change in their society.

Award Objectives
Developing innovation and an entrepreneurial mindset in the university community.

Target Audience:
The prize is aimed at students and graduates from all fields who are: - Those with innovative ideas. - Those with prototypes. - Those with an innovative entrepreneurial project.
Award Branches
The committee determines the award pathways every year in alignment with the strategic goals of the university and according to the local needs of Medina, based on market research and priority sectors in Saudi Arabia. Based on the university's directions for 2025 and the growing future investments in the local market of Medina, along with the National Transformation Programs aimed at developing various sectors to achieve the kingdom's 2030 vision; the focus for this year's award direction has been set to improve the services sector in the Medina region to enhance the level of services provided throughout the area. The services sector pathways for 2025 are as follows:
1. Smart Cities: A set of advanced solutions and technologies aimed at improving the quality of life in cities, enhancing sustainability, and resource efficiency.
2. Marketing and Event Management: Includes services designed to enhance brand identity, increase awareness, and improve the customer journey within the event/destination/brand.
